On September 19th-22nd the 6th grade class will be enjoying the 23rd year of Dealey's Environment Enrichment Program! The outdoor classroom adventure is hosted at Camp Grady Spruce, a YMCA camp on the shores of Possum Kingdom Lake for 4 days of outdoor education.
More information and details regarding the Goals and Objectives of the Program and what Students should bring and expect is detailed in the Overview document to the right. Please offer your support of this wonderful, much-anticipated tradition.
The full cost for each student is $180, and therefore what we are asking families to contribute to the effort. However, we understand fully that sometimes life happens and this suggested donation amount may not be possible. Give WHAT YOU CAN, we would love to see all families give something...and if you are able, please consider giving additional monies to help offset the cost of those whose budgets are a bit tighter.
Your donation is most likely tax deductible -please check with your accountant.

There is also a place to note your interest in Chaperoning the Adventure! You do not have to commit to the whole week, as most working parents can't do...But indicate your interest by checking the chaperone box and we can match you with a parent to ensure full chaperoning coverage. We will send more details as the date gets closer and allow you to make a FIRM commitment..later- so learn more about the opportunity today!
SPECIAL NOTE: We Need DADS to volunteer as chaperones also. Dad's this is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your son - Don't miss it!
